How does the bot know which language to reply in?

It detects the language of the inbound message and replies in that same language. If a visitor switches mid-conversation (starts in English, then asks the next question in Spanish) the bot follows. There's no flag picker or language menu to set up.

Do I have to translate my website before training the bot?

No. You train it on your existing content in whatever language that content lives in, and the bot handles translation at reply time. If you do have translated pages, you can add those too. It'll use whichever is most relevant to the question.

How accurate is it for technical or specialised content?
